What are the differences between linear guide and linear axis? The linear axis is a kind of mechanical component which is widely used to guide the linear motion. The common types of shafts are crankshaft, straight shaft and flexible shaft. It is used for infinite stroke and cylindrical shaft. Because the bearing ball is in point contact with the shaft, the service load is small. The steel ball rotates with very little friction resistance, so that it can achieve high precision and stable movement. The linear axis is widely used in electronic equipment, tension testing machine, digital 3D coordinate measuring equipment and other precision equipment, as well as the sliding parts of multi axis machine tools, punches, tool grinders, automatic gas cutting machines, printers, card sorting machines, food packaging machines and other industrial machinery. 1. It has the same function as linear guide rail, both as support and movement. The difference between the two lies in the installation position, and the shape is also different. The optical axis is round, and the linear guide rail is generally square, on which there is a fixed installation slider. The linear optical axis is generally fixed at two ends, and the middle suspended connecting part covers all or most of the radial direction of the optical axis. Generally, one side of the linear guide rail is all close to the equipment installation base and fixed with bolts. 2. The linear shaft is used for the use of the linear bearing and the cylindrical shaft. Because the bearing ball contacts with the outer point of the bearing, the steel ball rolls with very small friction resistance, so the linear optical axis has small friction and is relatively stable, does not change with the bearing speed, and can obtain stable linear motion with high sensitivity and precision. 3. The precision of linear guide rail is higher than that of linear bearing, with larger load and stronger stability. 4. The consumption of linear shaft also has its limitations. The main reason is that the impact load capacity of linear bearing is poor, and the bearing capacity is also poor. In addition, the vibration and noise of linear shaft are large when it moves at high speed, which are all problems faced by the industry. |
