1. The internal problem of the rack and pinion oil pump caused blockage. The rack and pinion oil pump is powered by the impeller to guide oil into the pipeline. If the impeller or other components have problems, it can cause problems with the filtration and transmission systems of the oil pump. Some substances that can be filtered can enter the interior of the gear oil pump and be filtered out. Once the filtration system has problems, these impurities cannot be filtered out, and blockage is inevitable.
2. The rack and pinion oil pump forgot to install a filter screen at the inlet during operation. This situation is also very common. Nowadays, filter nets, like fishing nets, are also divided into many sizes and types. The filter net is a layer of filtration that transports oil into the oil pump several times. It will exclude many impurities from the oil pump, allowing pure oil to enter the oil pump. Without this layer of filter screen, allowing any substance to enter the oil pump will eventually lead to problems.
3. Some impurities or other items enter the oil pump and block its transmission channel. This reason is common, especially in the transportation of newly extracted oil, which is mixed with some impurities and other substances. Some of them are solid, while others have a relatively high density. These substances entering the rack and pinion oil pump will block its inlet or outlet, leading to a decrease in its transportation efficiency. The common solution to this situation is to promptly clean these blockages inside the oil pump to keep it unobstructed. After disassembling and cleaning the filter, it should be assembled in a clean environment in the order of disassembly. If the filter element needs to be replaced, it should be replaced according to the specifications, including the same appearance and material, filtering accuracy and pressure resistance. The sealing components used inside the filter should be replaced according to the material specifications, and attention should be paid to assembly quality, otherwise it may cause leakage, oil absorption and drainage losses, as well as air absorption and other faults.
